”YOU CANNOT STEP TWICE INTO THE SAME TEXT” STYLISTIC AND THEMATIC STRATEGIES IN CHANGING THE WRITING OF ANKA ŽAGAR

Sažetak
Th e paper determines and explicates the features of the latest book of poems by Anka Žagar
Stvarnice, nemirna površina: spreading of recurrent motives, polyphonic architectonics, nonlinear
realization of textuality, extending of grammar, language anxiety of poetic subject and
metapoetical framing. It is ascertained that all of these strategies also characterize her previous
work, but that they are subjected to subtle changes, which leads to the conclusion that the poetics
of Anka Žagar is based on practice of repetition and mutual reinterpretation of each text and the
whole of her works, and this claim is supported by overview of the critical readings.
