Sažetak

The purpose of this paper was to give an insight into the most recent ichthiology research in which Micronucleus test is used. This test has been used for some time now as a tool for determining DNA damage in model–organism.
Scientists have been using it in order to assess genotoxic effects which certain substancies exhibit towards different organisms, in this case hydrobionts.
