Contemporary Mediterranean is an international scientific journal for social sciences and humanities. It is of multidisciplinary character and publishes papers from the fields of political science, sociology, contemporary history, cultural studies, information and communication sciences, and other related scientific disciplines that are dealing with the Mediterranean area. The journal defines the Mediterranean as a region that encompasses all the countries and territories that have access to the Mediterranean Sea. Contemporary Mediterranean publishes previously unpublished papers in Croatian and English languages, in the following categories: original scientific papers, review papers, expert papers, conference papers, preliminary communications, and book reviews. The journal is published online in a yearly volume. Contemporary Mediterranean supports open-access to scientific work. Journal does not charge any fee for publishing, reading or downloading papers.
