Sažetak
Im Justizroman als einem Subgenre des Kriminalromans wird der Konflikt von (gewalttätiger) Begierde und (normierender) Kontrolle im Ritual der juristischen Verhandlung anschaulich. Dabei bezieht der Justizroman seine versöhnliche Dimension aus der Zähmung der Gewalt durch das juristische Verfahren, also die vom Rechtswesen garantierte und vom Justizroman beschriebene Sühnung der Tat. Ferdinand von Schirach thematisiert in seinem Roman Beweiserhebung und juristische Verhandlung in einem brutalen Mordfall. Zwar führt die Verhandlung zum Sieg der Wahrheit, dokumentiert aber andererseits auch das Versagen der Justiz, die mit einer Gesetzesnovellierung eine 'kalte Amnestie' nationalsozialistischer Täter ermöglichte.
As a subgenre of the crime novel, the judiciary novel presents a conflict between (violent) desire and (normative) control that occurs during a hearing in a court of law. Its conciliatory dimension thus consists in domesticating violence through the legal process, i.e. from the atonement for the crime which is guaranteed by the legal system and portrayed in judiciary novels. Ferdinand von Schirach’s novel Der Fall Collini portrays processes of providing evidence and conducting a judicial hearing in the case of a brutal murder. In spite of the fact that the hearing leads to a victory of truth, it simultaneously documents a failure of justice, because it reveals that a specific amendment to German criminal law granted amnesty for war crimes committed by German citizens in World War II.
