Professor Nikola Kallay, a distinguished Croatian chemist, Professor emeritus at the University of Zagreb, a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Editor-in-Chief of Croatica Chemica Acta died on 20 April 2015 in his summerhouse near Zagreb at the age of 72.
