Sažetak
The aromatic stability of recenlIy reported conjugated sixty-carbon system of spherical shape (representing a truncated icosahedron
and named buckminsterfullerene) is discussed. Buckminsterfullerene
is predicted by a majority of theoretical methods to be aromatic compound with the degree of aromaticity smaller than that of benzene.
