Sažetak

In connection with a study of certain reactions of furfural with m- and p-nitroaniline, to be published later, samples of the hitherto undescribed l-(3'-nitrophenyl)-2-pyridone (I) and l-(4'-nit rophenyl)-2-pyridone (II) were prepared for purposes of comparison.
