Chronic Subdural Hematoma (CSDH) is a common neurosurgical condition that affects individuals
worldwide. However, the management of CSDH varies significantly between high-income and low-income
countries due to disparities in healthcare resources, infrastructure, and access to advanced medical
technologies. In this literature review, we aim to compare and contrast the management approaches of
CSDH in high-income and low-income countries. By adopting a global health perspective, we highlight the
challenges faced by healthcare systems in both settings and offer insights and recommendations for
improving the management of CSDH in low-income countries. This topic is unique and important as it
sheds light on the ethical dilemmas posed by the differences in healthcare access and outcomes between
high-income and low-income countries and emphasizes the importance of equitable healthcare distribution.
