Sažetak

We discuss the possibilitity of producing direct photons plus two-gluon final states in e + e- collisions, e + e- → y + 2 gluons → y + hadrons, both off and on the Z_0 resonance. We have found that the background processes e + e- → y + qq- → y + hadrons dominate everywhere. Off the Z_0 resonance, the ratio of distributions is smaller than 10^-3 for 0. 7 ≲ xy ≲ 0.9 and decreases as xy → 1, and is therefore unobservable at PETRA or PEP. On the Z_0 resonance, we have estimated the ratio of distributions to. be as large as ≈ 10^-3 for 0. 7 ≲ xy ≲ . 0.9 and found its upper limit to be ≈ 0.1 as xy → 1.
