Study of phase changes in the alloys of copper with titanium by x-ray scattering and pseudopotentials

Abstract

X-ray diffraction and pseudopotential studies have been performed on Cu-Ti alloys. It has been observed that complex phases like Cu3Ti exist in these alloys at temperatures up to 600 °C. The pseudopotential calculations take into account the experimental observations in alloys with greater concentration of Ti.
