A STUDY INTO THE CAUSES OF EMPLOYEE STRESS

Sažetak
Companies frequently use a variety of methods to investigate the causes of employee stress with the aim to effectively reduce stress and thus preserve the health of the employees, reduce the number of sick leave days and increase work efficiency. The paper presents an example of a company that has implemented a systematic study of the causes of stress to its employees. All stages of one particular method are presented: interviews with the psychologist conducted with employees working in different work environments, drawing up a suitable questionnaire, circulating the questionnaire to the employees, results analysis, presentation of the results to the individual organisational units and formulation of a set of proposals for stress reduction/elimination.
