Sažetak
It is believed that the most harmful disease of wheat worldwide is Fusarium head blight. It reduces grain yield and negatively affects the quality traits of wheat. Fungicide Prosaro application can control FHB up to 50 %. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of fungicide on grain yield and test weight of wheat, with respect to the control plots and Fusarium artificial infection, as well as the influence of Fusarium infection in comparison to the control plots. 18 wheat genotypes were sown in three treatments (artificial infection, fungicide protection and control treatment) in three replications during two years. The experiments were treated with the inoculum prepared from the spores of Fusarium culmorum in the late afternoon, while the fungicide was applied in the morning. Agronomic traits in the inoculated treatment, compared to control, had lower values. On average, genotypes in fungicide treatment compared to the control treatment, had higher grain yield over 15%, and higher test weight over 2%. On average, genotypes in fungicide treatment in relation to Fusarium treatment had higher grain yield (over 30 %) and test weight (over 7 %). Differences in values of grain yield in fungicide treatment in relation to Fusarium treatment were above 42 % (Golubica), and for test weight over 11 % (Katarina).
