Sažetak
This paper presents a brief historical overview of the collection of musical instruments
in the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb, and reviews its structure according
to the type of musical instruments, the location and time in which the largest number
of musical instruments were collected. The analysis of museum materials related
to musical instruments opens an insight into the criteria by which the museum items
have been collected.
