Opportunities for e-Learning in the Croatian Educational System

Sažetak

E-learning is one of the achievements of information and communication technologies from which the European Union expects a great deal. There are still certain obstacles for the systematic implementation of e-learning in Croatia. As a country at the end of a transition period, Croatia significantly lags behind developed European countries. The reform of the educational system in Croatia, in accordance with European Union legislation, is underway as part of the pre-accession process towards the European Union.
