Sažetak
The article is dedicated to the theme of human being's capacity for the faith. The approach to the theme is of dogmatic nature. The first part of the article provides a short overview of the development of the theological-anthropological thought on the faith, starting from its biblical basis, through the history of the Catholic theology and the Church's Magisterium. The second part of the article is dedicated to some crucial elements of the systematic theology which are contributing to the positive response to the article's thematic question of human being's capacity for the faith: by his/her constitution, creation, and salvation, the human being is predisposed for the faith, which always remains the gift. The article is limited to the dogmatic area, to the biblical-dogmatic postulations of the human being's capacity for the faith, without discussing the external conditions which could strengthen or weaken the human being's capacity for the response of faith.
