Sažetak

Knowing the amount of vertical gradient has the purpose of reducing gravity's acceleration from the hight of relative gravimeter to the hight of observation point, and is indispensable when performing measurements with a relative gravimeter. Two Scintrex CG-3M relative gravimeters, HGI-1 and HGI-2, were used for determining the gravity's acceleration vertical gradient. Surveying was conducted on an absolute gravimetry observation point AGT02, in park Maksimir, in Zagreb. Both gravimetar's measurements were conducted simultaneously on the same reference hight, with the hight difference of surveying point 1.207 m, in eight iterations. After implementing reductions, measurments were adjusted by the method of least squares, using correlated indirect measurements algorithm. The figure of the real vertical gradient on observation point AGT02 was derived as a result based on adjusted measurments.
