Sažetak
Investigations were carried out in order to find possible solution to hydrolyze the lactose in whey to equal quantities of glucose and galactose using the enzym,e lactase. The resulting product, lactose hydrolyzed whey, does not have the aformentation disadvantages and can be used as a component of whey-based beverages.
