Abstract
precipitation; Croatia; long-term trends
Keywords
This paper investigates the changes in precipitation levels in Croatia that can be observed since the mid 20th century. Based on the data from 22 weather stations; linear trends show very little oscillation for the period 1950–2010. In eastern Croatia; a slight increase was recorded; while a slight drop or stagnation was evident in other parts of the country. However; were such trends to continue; they could have long-term geographic consequences. In the analytical period; it is possible to determine cyclical changes in the annual levels of precipitation
