Abstract

Republic of Croatia wants to provide a quality, safe, available and adequate supply of energy to its citizens, as well as to the economy. To achieve this goal has decided to the use of solar energy and liquefied natural gas. In this scientific work, the authors discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these energy sources analyzing, in the process, the relevant legal regulations. Finally, authors state their opinion on the impact of these energy sources on environment, with special reference to the Adriatic Sea.
