Tourism and the Destination Region Classification of Tourist Attractions

Sažetak
Globally spreading mass tourism is increasingly leading to environmental problems. For the needs of the future "new" tourism, the author analysed about fifteen projects in the Tourism Institute (Zagreb) and suggested an original method for functionally classifying potential and existing tourist attractions, which could be used in planning feasible tourist development and environmental protection.
