Sažetak
Careful maintenance of each electric machine and plant is very important in preserving of people security and production. Diagnostic tests and monitoring of electrical machines are essential activities in maintenance procedures of every serious organization. In this paper efforts were made to explain the need and importance of diagnostic testing, planning and implementation of proactive maintenance of electrical machines. Theoretically expounded theme is practically applied to a concrete example of testing and maintaining the low-voltage induction motor (1,1 kW) in electrical machinery laboratory at The Polytechnic of Varaždin.
