Sažetak

The paper deals with delayed parenting, by which it is thought parenting realized for the first time in the second half of the thirties or later. The introductory part of the paper presents the circumstances of increasingly frequent postponement of parenting in contemporary society, followed by the definition of the titular term from the pedagogical perspective. The second part of the paper deals with the child-rearing implications of delayed parenting, presenting a systematic review of the advantages and disadvantages of delayed parenting that can be manifested in child-rearing. The concluding part critically reflects on whether the delayed parenting should be a subject of interest to pedagogy.
