Sažetak

This paper continues the analysis of pottery material from the Beretin hillfort near Radovin. The selected material comes from the layers of Trench 63, which was chosen because of the thick cultural strata, the preserved layers containing prehistoric pottery material, and the quantity and diversity. Ornamentation of Liburnian pottery appears on a relatively small number of fragments in comparison to the total quantity of material found; and accordingly, various techniques have been utilised. Besides the ornamentation that gives Liburnian pottery a distinctive appearance, its characteristics are important for determining the temporal and cultural setting behind the pottery material and in general that of Liburnia, and the wider area surrounding it.
