Sažetak
Protective devices at work are of utmost importance for occupational safety and a prerequisite for a safe performance of work. The Occupational Safety Act states the responsibility of the employer to install and regularly inspect all safety devices and personal protective equipment to detect any changes in their performance which may affect the safety and health of workers. Criminal liability is envisaged for the destruction, damage, removal, shutting off or rendering unusable or inef-fective the protective devices at work causing danger to human life and health or damage to valuable property, whether committed intentionally or negligently. Individual criminal liability shall be establi-shed according to the general principles of criminal law.
