Sažetak

In this paper, barycentric (or areal) coordinates of any point with respect to a given triangle in the Euclidean plane are defined by means of vector calculus. Barycentric coordinates of any line are also defined. Barycentric coordinates of the joining line of two different points and the intersection of two lines and the oriented areas of any triangle are calculated by using barycentric coordinates of its vertices.
