Sažetak
In the course of the bioecological studies of the peach moth (Anarsia lineatella) in Titograd in the period from 1967 to 1970, there was perceived an activity of predator and parasites causing an important decrease of the moth population. Among them Paralitomastix variicornis – Nees. excelled signifiantly by its activity. At the time of the appearance of larvae that spent the winter on new shouts of the peach tree in the course of April and May, the activity of this parasite is high so that up to 90% of moth's larvae are parasitic. It has an important significance on the decrease of the population densitiy of other moth generations. Later on, the density of the parasite population diminishes and it can be stated, in a lower number until the beginning of September. According to our observations P. variicornis has two to three generation yearly, the most numerous of which is the first one. The species P. variicornis reproduct it seef polyembrionic. The number of parasites in the moth larvae moved from 33 to 81 images. It was not stated if this parasite variety attacks also larvae of the peach twister (Grapholita molesta) appearing almost at the same time as the peach moth.
