Sažetak
In this experiment, forty weanling pigs of Large white breed, averaging 18 kgs in body weight, were randomly alloted to two uniform groups, od tventy pigs each, from outcome groups of littermates, on the basis of litter, weight, sex and general condition. Both group I and II were fed a basal ration consisting of ground yellow corn 78,5%, soybean oil meal ext. 8,0% fish rneal 7%, groundnut rneal ext. 3,5% bone meal 1,5%, premix 1,0% and salt 0,5%. The pigs of test group (I) received basal ration supplemented with 1.5 kgs of „Vigofac“ per ton of mixture; and the pigs of control group (II) were fed basal ration supplemented with 0.75 kg of copper sulfate per ton of feed mixture. Free access to feed and water was provided for a 8 week experirnental period. The experiment was conducted with the purpose to study the effect of „Vigofac" supplement (0,15%) in pig ration on growth rate and feed conversion by the young growing pigs. On the basis obtained results, the following conclusions can be drawn: l. Suppllementation of 0.l5% of „Vigofac“ in ration of weanling pigs, had no significant effect on gain in weight (test group- gained 692, and control one 613 grams daily in average); and feed conversion (2,82 and 2,86 kgs per kilo of gain, respectively). 2. The economic effect was negative in comparison with results of pigs of control group which received 0,075% or 1.5 kgs copper sulfate per ton of basal ration. 3. It is necessary to study the effect of diffierent level of „Vigofac“ as supplements in swine ration composed of vegetabile feed only.
