MAIZE SEED VIGOR ANALYSIS

Sažetak

The importance of maize seed vigor in Slovenia is described. The vigor structure is discussed and the methods of its analysis are compared concerning the precision. The two-year-investigation has included four maize hybrids (Bc 188, Bc 278, ZPSC 37 and ZPSC 209). The results show that seed vigor depends on genetic structure of a hybrid.
