EVALUATION OF NEW 00-CULTIVARS OF OILSEED RAPE

Sažetak
In 1992, 1993, and 1994 evaluation of 50 new 00-cultivars of oilseed rape was carried out on the trial field of the Faculty of Agronomy in Zagreb. The results of the test show that the yileds of almost all domestic and foreign 00-cultivars are equal to the yields of old 0-varietes. New 00-cultivars have a slightly higher oil content ( 1-3 %) in relation to standard varieties Tamara and Korina although the differences are not statistically justified. The tested cultivars differ significantly in habitus, structure and yield components. Significantly different number of side branches were formed. Cultivars with more side branches formed more siliques per plant. Differences in the langht of siliques, number of seeds per silique and the weight of 1000 seeds were also established. According to most important economic properites the most perspective are Silvia, Sabrina, HN 074/91, Gie 1005, DNK 3/87 GS, Semu 88-3, Semu 920201, Semu 910204, AX 074.
