THE WEED CONTROL MEASURES IN NURSERY STOCKS

Sažetak

The weed control in forcing - and hot beds is carrying out with soil sterilisation (heating or chemical measures). In the ranges of rational and optimal crop production in field conditions the overview of weed control measures is given, and the special respect to herbicides selection dealing with the efficacy and selectivity. There are only few registred herbicide for weed control in woody ornamentals plants in Croatia. The overview of the official and not registred herbicide recommendations in Europe and some other important countries of the world is presented, and based on this some our recommendations for weed control in nursery stocks.
