THE WEED CONTROL METHODS IN VEGETABLE LEGUMES

Sažetak
Within the programme of rational and optimal protection against weeds, a part of integral production, a review of methods of fighting weeds in vegetable legumes is given. A special attention is paid to the choice of herbicides and the most important criteria used in the choice. In Croatia herbicides have been registered for peas, beans and joint sowing of maize and beans. According to the reviewed herbicides which have been tested, recommended or registered in Europe and other parts of the world possibilities for further application in vegetable legumes will be suggested.
