Sažetak

During 1996/97 growing season investigations of influence weather conditions (long-life rainfalls) during wheat seer maturity on sprouting energy and germinability were done. Field trial was established on split-plot design with 4 replications (basic plot of 7,8 m²) on 5 cultivars; 4 new AG-cultivars (AG-5 .12, Lara, Kruna and Lenta) and cultivar Žitarka as a control. Long-life rainfalls during wheat seer maturity have had statistically significant influence (P<0,05) on sprouting energy decreasing, and statistically very significant influence (P < 0,01) on germinability decreasing. Sprouting energy average values of all investigated cultivars was 87,5% and germinability 96,8%. After rainfall period, sprouting energy has reduced on 83,7% and germinability on 93,3%. The found differences were statistically very significant (P < 0,01). lnvestigated cultivars have showed statistically very significant influence (P<0,01) on sprouting energy and germinability. The greatest average values of sprouting energy and germinability were achieved with cultivar AG-5.12 (91,5% and 96,5%) and the smallest one with cultivar Kruna (81,6% and 92,1%). Cultivar Žitarka (as i control) was on second place with average values of 88,3% (sprouting energy) and 97,7% (germinability). The found differences were statistically very significant (P<0,01).
