Sažetak

Even though gastronomy is considered one of the newest culinary, tourism, hospitality and management disciplines, its beginings reach far into history. We can say that gastronomy has risen to its heights most during the last decades. Considering gastronomy is not only food enjoying, but also a
skill, food science, even real art, we have searched what kind of interest is it, who is dealing with it, is it art, science or craft. What gastronomy professional needs to know and which are the schools for gastronomyin Croatia and world?
