Sažetak
A root rot diseases of sugar beet is caused by common soil inhabitants with broad scale of hosts. From diseased roots originated of east Slavonija and Baranja Province two parasite species were predominant: Fusarium oxysporum (>60%) and Rhizoctonia solani (till 3%). However, Macrophomina phaseolina which we ordinary found on sunflower and soybean fields and is well-known sugar beet parasite was not identified in investigated samples. Saprophyte fungi as Alternaria spp., Penicillium spp., Rhizopus spp, i Aspergillus spp. are also established.
