Sažetak

This paper is an analysis of Nazor's poem "Easter" published in New Poems (1913), focusing its obvious connections with a nationalist ideology present in the Croatian society between 1900 and world war I. The harmony of its poetic qualitis with its ideological expressions is also pointed aut. Finally, its nationalistic enthusiasm is related to the antimodernist views characteric of the culture of European aesteticism.
