Sažetak
This paper presents the results of examining the influence of teaching by using the electronic classroom as an interactive model of organizing teaching and electronic teaching aids on the level and quality of achievements (knowledge, skills, competencies) of school students in the processing of teaching contents of the subject Nature and Society. The research included 264 fifth grade primary school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (132 students in the experimental and in the control group). A method of theoretical analysis, descriptive method and experimental method with parallel groups were used in the analysis. Testing was used as a research technique, and initial and final knowledge tests were used as measuring instruments. The results obtained show that, through the use of the electronic classroom, the experimental group of students achieved a better level of knowledge in the unit Creation and Composition of the Earth, as opposed to the control group taught in a traditional classroom. Better results have also been determined with regard to the three levels of educational standards derived from Bloom`s taxonomy, and these are statistically significant, which made it possible to largely reject the main hypothesis of this research.
