REMOTE CONTROL OF FIXED INSTALLATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL TRACTION POWER SUPPLY ON HŽ INFRASTRUKTURA LINES
Mirko Bižaca
Sažetak
Remote control of electrical traction fixed installations on railway lines is a complex system, which encompasses numerous kinds of technologies, electronic and electrical engineering devices, hardware components and many integrated software solutions. The remote control system in Croatia was installed for the first time during the second electrification phase on the Dobova – Zagreb – Vinkovci – Tovarnik line, at the beginning of the 1970s, when two remote control centres were built and started operating– CDU Zagreb and CDU Vinkovci. The process of modernizing the remote control system of electrical traction fixed installations on lines under HŽ Infrastruktura management went almost in every case in parallel with general modernization of those very installations and with the modernization of telecommunication equipment and data transfer media.
