Sažetak

The author explains in brief the problem of mercury poisoning in professional circles. He cithes from accessible literature and from his own experience, specially the results of an examination in a hat factory which uses mercury nitrate as a chemical. Poisoning in this factory was in most cases chronicle and appeared after five and still more after ten or twenty years of work in the hat factory. Out of the total number of workmen 29,37% suffered from mercury poisoning, uot of which 4,37% were bad cases.
