Sažetak

Within the EU FP7 Project TIRAMISU (20122015) for the purposes of humanitarian demining, several tools were developed . These tools are intended for the reconnaissance and detection of mine suspected area and its indicators, unexploded ordnance and battle area reconstruction in office by using different wavelengths sensor data collected from a variety of aerial and ground-based platforms. In this process very broad selection of processing and interpretation of data methods, terrain analysis, knowledge, contextual and other information were used [1]. During the project TIRAMISU implementation period, security threats in Europe rapidly grew and terrorist attacks with improvised explosive devices (IED) became more frequent. This prioritizes security and introduces the need for finding a tool that would provide response solution to this type of threat. Therefore in this article, the transfer of solutions derived for Mine Action is considered and possible transfer to the C-IED domain is discussed ass well as one selected concept of the C-IED system and necessary improvements and modifications for achieving system's functionalities of the intended application.
