Sažetak

The aim of this paper was to describe the production of garlic in the Vinkovci area. The "Češnjak" Association from Vinkovci was founded with the aim of improving the garlic production. Cultivar „Cerićki ozimi“ has been on the „List of varieties of the Republic of Croatia“ since 2014 and was cultivated in the region of Cerić in the 2014/2015 season. Agrotechnical measures in the cultivation of this crop are adapted to the weather, health and physiological conditions of crops. After garlic removal from the ground, stems and roots were removed and the bulbs were stored in warehouse with natural ventilation. The bulb yield was 6.5 t ha-1.
