Sažetak
This article briefl y presents extension of cabinet
surveillance radar system which was derived,
with few modifi cations, from the professional
radar system that was in operation in the Croatia
Control until 2012. It is now used in the teaching
process for the implementation of laboratory
exercises in radar systems. Listed plans are for
the development of new subsystems, which will
after the development and integration in cabinet
surveillance radar system signifi cantly contribute
to improvement of teaching process. In particular
description of development, production and fi nal
testing of the radar transmitter and two targets
simulator for the primary surveillance radar is
given and shows the results of the fi nal functional
testing and measurement of technical features.
The developed simulator can also be used for
other surveillance radars, operating in L, or any
other frequency bands.
