Role of galactography in secretory breasts

Sažetak

In the study a valulation has been made of the galactographic results in 172 female patients with a pathological secretion from the breast, all of it in order to estimate relevance of this method in diagnostics of the occult breast cancer compared to the mammographic and cytologic diagnostics. A pathological finding served as a referential criterion. In the study diagnostic confirmity of galactography and exfoliative cytology has been especially emphasized and statistically proven. Concerning the great accuracy of guessing in intracanalicular expansive processes, especially in those with the blood secretion, this contrast radiological examination has acquired a firm, and a one not to be bypassed, place in a sequence of complex diagnostics of the unpalpable, earliest stages of breast cancer.
