ECONOMIC PROBLEMS IN THE PAPER HERVATSKA IN 1871

Sažetak

Party of Right's paper Hervatska was published in Zagreb between January and October 1871 and, though clearly a political paper, it did not neglect the then existing economic problems of Banal Croatia and Military Border. Economic questions were discussed by the contributors of Hervatska in close relationship with constitutional problems, representing the opinion that the economic prosperity was impossible until Croatian people had their own independent state in which economy would be organized and developed according to their own needs. From that point of view the author problematizes the situation in economy in the fields of trade, crafts, traffic, exploitation of Military Border forests and agrarian relations.
