Saint Joseph – archetype of praising love present in the timeless holy family

Sažetak
In his book The carpenter, the novelistic curriculum vitae of St. Joseph,
Bozidar Prosenjak innovatively shapes Joseph’s character in the connotation
of exalted love which becomes the origin and model of harmonious
timeless family through its psychological expansion. Historical
and biblical data are only the plot guide used by that excellent writer for
double illustration of the Holy Family life and bringing closer to modern
time, especially by poetic quality, picturesqueness and demiurge parallelism.
He realizes that by the expression terseness, suggestive speech and
poetical stylistic figures. Recent stylistic technique makes this novel a
spiritual-literary realization which is permanently modern.
