Sažetak
The education of relations belongs to the basic cognitive activity. Education processes enable the individual to realise the fundamental characteristics and relations of objects and phenomena. The basic purpose of this investigation was the analysis of the complexity of these processes.
The results show that there exists a system for determining relations on the level of information reception (input processor). This system analyses information immediately upon input and, according to functional structure, belongs to the less complicated systems. It was also established that there exists a more complicated system, which processes information later (not necessarily immediately upon input). This second system is functionally more complex, because it activates hierarchically higher and more extensive structures of the central nervous system. This system closely corresponds to the simultaneous information processor.
It can be hypothesised that there exist individual differences in the preference of a particular system of education of relations. The reasons for the preference of one of the two isolated systems could be found in the interaction of endogenous and exogenous factors during the development of intellectual abilities.
