Sažetak
In the daily activities of man, accurate posture and body position are increasingly ignored.Aging is accompanied by a decrease in muscle tone that works to maintain the position of the body and therefore a decline in the ability of coordination, accuracy, balance and speed of movement. Imbalance in movement and standing brings to instability with a fear of falling as a consequence in the elderly, therefore
coordination and balance exercises should be highlighted in particular. The main and most difficult problem of coordination is that this ability cannot be generalized and placed under oneunique ability. Coordination participates in every structure of movement, from the simplest to the most complex forms of movement, and the coordination system is relatively complex, multi-dimensional,which can be divided into different abilities that are interconnected. A specialized group of exercises is frequently used in rehabilitation. Common programs are the balance exercises program as well as exercise programs of coordination, proprioception, stability or kinesthetic, which are interconnected. In view of the mutual similarity and connection between these concepts the aim of this paper is to define and presentthem.
