Floristic and syntaxonomic analysis of the association Koelerio pyramidatae -Brachypodietum rupestris Trinajstić ass.Nov

Sažetak
In the paper the floristic and syntaxonomic analysis of the association Koelerio pyramidatae-Brachypodietum rupestris from Gorski Kotar in Croatia is made. At the same time, the nomenclatural revision of the syntaxon "Bromo-Brachypodietum pinnati" Petkovšek 1977, non M. Wraber ex Zupančič 1969 is done.
As characteristic species of the association indicated are Koelelria pyramidata and Phytuma betonicifolium, while as characteristic species of the alliance Cirsio-Brachypodion rupestris (= Bromion erecti p.p.) indicated are Brachypodium ruperstre, Centaurea fritschii, Globularia elongata and Knautia illyrica. The order Brometalia erecti and the class Festuco-Brometea are represented by a larger noumber of species among which Bromus erectus, Buphtalmum salicifolium, Helianthemum ovatum, Trifolium montanum, Sanguisorba minor and others are distinguished by a higher degree of constancy. The companion species are numerous and can be distinguished as the elements of the class Molinio-Arrhenatheretea and Nardo-Callunetea, and other higher rank syntaxa.
