Sažetak

The aim of this investigation was to analyze the relationships between primary motoric abilities and dimensions responsible for successful performance in football.
Primary motoric factors, which in this analysis have the logical status of predictors, were defined as latent dimensions and were extracted by a confirmative technique of factor analysis from a set of 74 tests of motoric abilities to which 208 students of the Faculty of Physical Education were subjected. The following dimensions were isolated on application of the KOCHIKI DAOSHI algorithm:
1. coordination (KOORDI)
2. realization of rhythmic structures (RITAM)
3. balance (BALANS)
4. frequency of movements (BRZFRQ)
5. speed of movements (BRZJEP)
6. precision (PRECIZ)
7. flexibility (FLEKSI)
8. force (SILA)
9. explosive power (EKSPLO)
10. power (REPSTA)
11. endurance (IZDRZL).
The dimensions responsible for performance in football have the logical status of criteria in the investigation and were divided into two separate sets.
The first set of criterial dimensions was defined by the following situational-motoric abilities:
1. precision of hitting a target (PRECPC)
2. manipulation with the ball (BARATL)
3. dribbling speed (BRZVOD)
4. ball-kicking power (SNAUDL)
5. speed of non-linear running (BKRIVT).
These dimensions were obtained by a factor procedure (Kochiki Daoshi) from a set of 20 situational-motoric test applied to 51 students of the Faculty of Physical Education.
The second set of criterial variables was defined by the condensed results of the evaluations of a number competent judges who during the course of football matches awarded points to players for the following.
1. technique (TEHNIK)
2. attack (NAPAD)
3. defence (OBRANA)
4. creativity (STVARA)
5. responsibility (ODGOVO)
6. commitment (ANGAZI)
7. behaviour (PONASA)
8. general evaluation (OPCOCJ).
The investigation was performed on the same group of 51 students of the Faculty of Physical Education. The data were processed by means of procedures for the maximization of covariance between sets of variables (QCR and SRA).
The results indicated following:
1. It is possible with the system of primary motoric abilities to explain a considerable part of the variance of the set of situational-motoric abilities of footballers, and a smaller, although still quite significant part of the variables of performance in football.
2. The system of primary motoric factors can predict a significant part of variance of nearly all individual situational-motoric abilities, but cannot explain a significant part of the variance of nearly all individual situational-motoric abilities, but cannot explain a significant apart of the variance of the variables used to evaluate performance, although the same set of motoric factors has coefficients which synchronously and systematically vary just below the level of significance.
3. A significant contribution to the prognosis by individual criterial variables and by each set of criterial variables is systematically based on the participation of the following primary motoric factors:
1. coordination
2. balance
3. explosive power
4. frequency of movements
5. precision.
Thus, it is possible to consider these dimensions as probably representing the motoric base for the situational efficacy of footballers. Naturally this hypothesis must be confirmed on a representative sample of subjects and variables.
4. Since it was noticed in this analysis that both criterial sets provide insufficient information about player performance, it will be necessary to construct additional instruments in order to cover properly the obviously multidimensional criterial system.
