Sažetak
An analysis of the relationship between basic motoric abilities and situational motoric abilities of handball players and their performance in the game was carried out on 52 students of the Faculty of Physical Education who had been successful in the handball examination. The correlations present in such a small sample were detrmined gy quasicanonical ang quasiregressional analysis.
The space of basic motoric abilities, treated as predictive, was defined with 11 factors extracted from the intercorrelation motoric of 110 motoric tests:
1. coordination (KOORDI)
2. realization of rhythmic structures (RITAM)
3. balance (BALANS)
4. frequency of movements (BRZFRG)
5. speed of movements (BRZJEP)
6. precision (PRECIZ)
7. flexibility (FLEKSI)
8. force (DIMSIL)
9. explosive power (EKSPLO)
10. repetitive-static power (REPSTA)
11. endurance (IZDRZL).
Factorization of twenty.one situational motoric tests gave the first criterial set of five factors of handball player situational motoric abilities, defined as:
1. precision (PREZI)
2. manipulation with the ball (BARLOP)
3. speed of movement without the ball (BKRSLO)
4. speed of movement without the ball (BKRBRLO)
5. ball-throwing power (SIZBLO).
The second set of criterial variables consisted of evaluations of layers by six independent judges scoring situational efficacy in:
1. technique (TEHNIK)
2. tactical play in attack (NAPAD)
3. tactical play in defence (OBRANA)
4. creativity (STVARA)
5. responsibility (ODGOVO)
6. commitment (ANGAZI)
7. behaviour (PONASA)
8. general performance (OPCOCJ).
A significant positive correlation was found between basic motoric abilities and situational motoric abilities. The correlation between the quasicanonical factors was moderately high. (.68) and all quasimultiple coefficients of correlation were significant apart from the one between situational precision and basic motoric abilities. The correlation established in bot analyses were based on coordination, explosive power and speed of movements, thus, these abilities may be considered the motoric basis of situational efficacy in handball.
The relationship between basic motoric abilities and techno-tactical abilities of handball players under match conditions was analyzed practically only by quasicanonical anaylsis because of the unreability of quasiregressional factors and their close mutual similarty which was a consequence of the unidimensionality of the criterial space. A moderately high correlation was obtained between the only pair of quasicanonical factors (.59). The biopolarity of the quasicanonical factor in the space of basic motoric abilities indicates the double influence of these abilities on technico-tactical efficacy in handball under match conditions. A positive influence on efficacy is shown by explosive power, rhytm and speed of movements and a negative one by balance, endurance and repetitive-static power. These illogical negative correlations can be explained by the specificity of the second group of subjects. This included fast and explosive players who obtained more points for their play and those with a sense of balance, statically powerful and with a great local endurance (not handball players, specialists in other sports).
