A contribution to the study of morphological traits of students at the Faculty of physical culture

Sažetak
Starting with the hypothesis that the sample of 96 subjects taken from the population of students at the Faculty of Physical Education was very close to the population of top-level sportists, we determined the latent dimensions from the group of 17 anthropometric traits which cover the space of relevant morphologic factors in an unbiased way.
Only three latent dimensions were isolated, sufficing to describe everything essential for the variability and co-variability of morphological measures used to describe the sample, most likely belonging to the subpopulation of specific morphologic traits.
Three isolated factors were interpreted in the orthoblique as mesomorphia, endomorphia and ectomorphia.
